Hello and welcome to my corner of Go Imagine!
After my crisis counselor shifts, I always looked for ways to decompress after my shifts. I found fluid art painting through YouTube and it brought a sense of ease and calm so I could fall asleep. I started dabbling in this art last summer and it has been so fulfilling and joyful, such a release. Friends and family know how important mental health awareness is to me and I wanted to share that through my art. If I can bring joy and peace to anyone with this art that playfully flows across the canvas, that fills my soul.

How it’s Made
To create "Ethereal Vortex," I used the ring pour technique. I started by layering different shades of black, white, bronze, and gold acrylic paints in a cup. Then, I poured the paint onto the canvas in a circular motion, letting the colors flow and blend naturally. As I tilted the canvas, the paint created intricate, swirling patterns that gave the piece its dynamic and mesmerizing effect. The process was both spontaneous and controlled, resulting in a unique and captivating painting.
